Elevator service was fast, and the room was fairly quiet, even on a Thursday and Friday night. Our room faced the parking lot and the mountains, and while it did have a Juliet balcony, the door wouldn't open (and it was certainly too hot outside to actually open it!!). This wasn't a 5-star place, but it certainly was nice enough. Check-in was fairly easy - we paid for the room using credit card points, but still had to pay an additional $23/day for resort fees and there was a $100 hold placed on our card, which wasn't released until about 4 days after check-out. We had never been to Laughlin before, so we really didn't know what to expect. We were staying in the south tower, which I think was built in the mid-90's. We stayed for two nights at the Riverside Resort about two weeks ago when we were in the area to visit the Grand Canyon.
